Driven by Illuminations in partnership with Make-A-Wish Panamá, this initiative turned light, art and design into tools for a larger purpose: helping children facing critical illnesses come closer to having their wishes granted.
ILLUMAGIK closed a new chapter with a result that goes well beyond a figure: US$32,462 raised, a contribution that will let Make-A-Wish Panamá carry on with its mission of transforming the lives of children and their families through the power of a wish.
Over the course of this chapter, artists, architects, designers, brands, partners and members of the community joined the same conversation: dreams can change what is real, once we decide to do something to make them happen. The initiative found in creativity a meeting point between different disciplines and people who share one conviction — that talent can also be put at the service of a cause.
The involvement of design and architecture professionals has reinforced precisely that message. Some of those taking part have described ILLUMAGIK as a chance to show that design and architecture can become tools capable of generating hope and changing what is real.
Illuminations thanks every person, artist, architect, designer, partner, company and member of the community who believed in this initiative and chose to be part of it. To everyone who contributed, shared, created and helped carry the message: thank you for believing in the power of lighting up wishes.
