The idea behind this project was to turn an old restaurant-cum-house into somewhere current and genuinely likeable, where people can eat well and enjoy themselves — elegant, modern and welcoming. As in every BT Arquitectos project, lighting played a very important part, outside as well as in. Raw materials such as concrete, the elegance of black, white and gold, and warm, focused light, combined with an excellent menu and good service, meant the client's original aim was met: Aria is today a restaurant well worth considering in Panama.
