This project was designed around an essence of pure lines, a palette of warm materials, and the replanting of the vegetation surrounding the garden to keep the setting natural and contemporary at once. Within a sculptural element clad in green marble — chosen precisely so as to go unnoticed at first glance — a perfect relationship is struck with the greens and chocolates of the planting around the garden. The work was matched with a rich selection of fittings, setting up a rhythm in the light and helping to create distinct moods outdoors. Notable among them is the bespoke Delta Light profile made specifically for the marble element, as an example of architectural lighting. Uplights integrated at the foot of the columns reinforce their verticality, and small accents by Axo Light trace the perimeter of the pool and the deck. The fittings lighting the planting are entirely concealed by virtue of their shape and design; the Belvedere by Flos throws an interesting play of light and shadow across the wall. To close the scheme a single decorative piece was chosen — the Superarchimoon by Flos in its Panama finish — whose particular design has exactly the right scale for the deck. The lighting completes the landscape proposal, transforming how the space is read and extending the evenings out of doors.
