The project is a set of security vaults for storing valuables. In the scheme set out by the architects, gold ran through every one of the boxes, and for the lighting we proposed carrying that detail into the ceiling with small gold-toned points from which the light would be emitted. The choice of fitting therefore mattered a great deal, since it had to satisfy both the design and the practical requirements. We selected the Easy Kap Gold by Flos in a warm colour temperature, to bring out the predominant gold and set off a project of fine, clean, modern finishes.
