Lighting is essential when designing the various settings typical of a department store. With our own My Light range we were able to create bright general illumination across every retail area of one of Panama's largest and most prestigious chains, Félix B. Maduro. For more focused light we used track fittings, which throw exact points of light and show the merchandise to real advantage. The toy department — one of the most enjoyable spaces for younger visitors — was lit with high-output linear fittings interleaved with high bays, for a decorative, entertaining, industrial effect. In the café, beautiful and delicate 770 Lights pendants both decorate and light their surroundings, making somewhere comfortable and pleasant for customers who want a break in the middle of their shopping. A large project with extraordinary results.
