The concept is an office designed for FCI Logistics, a transport and logistics company — hence the reception wall, which mimics a shipping container in the company's corporate colours. The client's principal aim was to create somewhere pleasant, useful and comfortable for staff, with the company's image reflected in the surroundings. This was achieved by merging the two separate offices that existed previously into one, creating a single open, shared place where communication between colleagues is quicker and easier. The project sits in an office tower with a beautiful view, so the decision was taken to bring it in and make use of the daylight throughout, for a more productive, relaxed working environment with a real sense of openness — putting the wellbeing and satisfaction of the staff first.
